Buy a licence and develop as many projects as you like and distribute them across as many devices as you need. We do not charge per device/development. This includes the host communication software (Mis Communicator).

MultiOS Deployment

Kalipso supports virtually all types of communication. You can create applications that work online or offline, with synchronisation processes via GPRS, 3G, WI-FI, Bluetooth, USB or serial ports. And you can do this directly or via MIS Communicator (our powerful communication gateway).

Barcode Reader Control
The barcode reader control is natively available for the major hardware brand devices on the market. Several wizards are available on this platform to help you be more productive and faster when creating applications.
NFC system
You can use NFC in Kalipso to read and write tags in Android and iOS.
RFID system
Kalipso Studio helps you read and write different types of tags at different frequencies, simply by dragging and dropping. Manufacturers such as Intermec, Unitech, Datalogic, Baracoda and Zebra are available on the Kalipso platform with direct actions. It is also possible to connect devices from other manufacturers using external DLLs or by direct communication (serial or socket) between the RFID modules and Kalipso.
Kalipso has a powerful print engine based on the MIS-ML language. With this print engine it is possible to create or modify reports and documents to print on virtually any portable printer on the market. The creation of PDF files is possible with this engine and the created documents can be previewed and sent by email.
Geolocation
With a group of ready-made actions for geolocation, Kalipso allows you to connect to a GPS NMEA module (internal or external) and get coordinates, speed and bearing on the terminal at any time. This can be useful for tracking your mobile workers, tagging your orders or services with the coordinates where the order or service was picked up.
Speech recognition
With the speech module, you can develop applications with integrated speech recognition.
Security
Today, security is more important than ever. In Kalipso, there are several features that provide even more security for your apps: Encryption actions, certificate pinning, proxy settings and SSL sockets.
Verwaltung E-Mails & SMS
Sending and receiving emails or SMS is easy with Kalipso. With built-in actions for this purpose, simply drag the action you need and let Kalipso do the rest. You can use SMTP/POP3 or Pocket Outlook to easily manage your email or SMS messages. If you use Pocket Outlook, you can also manage your contacts by adding, changing or deleting contacts.
Signature and image control
Signature on screen, camera capture, drawing barcodes on screen, image conversion and resizing are some of the available image control actions.
iOT
The Internet of Things is considered one of the most profound technological disruptions of our time, creating unimagined opportunities for businesses. Large platforms use REST API to exchange data between devices and the cloud. Use Kalipso HTTP Request to connect to these platforms.
OCR
Have an image with text you want to recognise? You can integrate OCR into an application created with Kalipso Studio to recognise and extract text from an image file.
Multilingualism
With Kalipso you can create an application in different languages. Translate at the same time you create the application. This way you can create a single application with different languages and dynamically change the language in the field.
Controls
Kalipso Studio has various controls such as loopers, charts, HTML controls, screen buttons, progress bars, pie charts, gauges, media player, scroll area, tab control, image from URL and much more.
External Android APKs
You can have an external JAVA library compiled as a JAR file or simply as an Android APK and call the functions directly from Kalipso. If you need control over specific hardware or other types of SDKs from Kalipso, you can now create your own library for Android, compile an APK, place it in the Files To Send folder of your Kalipso project and then simply call functions from your library.
Synchronisation
With a powerful communication and synchronisation module, Kalipso lets you synchronise your local tables with your server database. You can transfer text files, images, videos and all kinds of files. In addition, this engine has an ODBC gateway that allows you to connect and work with any database (with ODBC connection) on the network.
DLLs
The very large number of actions within the Kalipso platform covers the needs of any type of application. However, sometimes it is necessary to execute external functions. With our set of DLL actions you can open and execute functions within the DLL files. One of the most common scenarios is to control the barcode reader of a particular terminal using the manufacturer's SDK.
